the product is as advertised. the paints are adequate--must be thinned with water. Recommend that you purchase other brushes that can do fine detail work. Also purchase a magnifier you can wear to see the teensie tiny areas to paint--some area are really tiny. the cloth is canvas. the numbers and outline to be painted are clear. ----- great for meditating and listening to music---I have spent many hours on it so far and still have a lot to go. should be pretty nice , once I get done. ---Oh, and framing it will be a challenge as there is only about an inch of border.

Paint quality is fine. I’m not a painter but it seems like a little more liquid is useful to not run out of paint so fast. The kit is pretty good quality, the brushes work well and the surface texture is pretty canvas-y.There are a ton of super tiny spots so this is a super tedious one to paint but i think the finished product will be one of the coolest offered paint by numbers I’ve seen.

This would be great if the brushes were worth a crap. Paint is a little thin even after stirring it with toothpicks. Have to put 2-3 coats to cover the canvas and the number definitely shows thru with 1 coat.

This was much better than I expected! They are two complete and seperate paintings, reach with its own set of paints. The paints for each picture are separately sealed in their own plastic bag to keep them fresh. The picture is clearly printed on a sturdy piece of prepared canvas. Since the canvas was tightly rolled and wouldn't lay flat, I ironed it on a low setting and it flattened out with no problem. The paints are thick; almost too thick and I had to thin a bit of them down to get some small areas and help the paint cover the canvas better. The paint dries with shine to it. So far, there is plenty of paint. The brushes are adequate but the fine detail brush has a couple long hairs that need to be trimmed. The reference picture on paper isn't as clear with the numbers as the print on the canvas, but it's still good to have and I'm glad it was included. I got this for my preteen daughter and she's very happy with it.
