I have limited space to sew and keep this by my machine for pressing seams when quilting. It works perfectly!! You can also turn it over and use the cutting mat to square off.

This ironing mat goes perfectly with the mini iron I purchased. I keep these right next to my sewing machine while quilting so I can iron the blocks as I make them. And the cutting side is perfect for trimming the blocks. These make my quilting so much easier.

One aide you can iron on, other side you can use a rotary blade. Very durable, small size which is perfect to set next to your sewing machine. Perfect for quilters.

I got this to replace my old one that I have had for more years than I can count. Unfortunately the cutting side is in really bad shape. It is so nice to have a brand new one. I love being able to cut/trim on one side and press seams and blocks on the other!

This small mat is easy to carry to a class or retreat. Its size makes it incredibly easy to transport, but is also its shortcoming. Because it is so small, it is not great for longer seams that you are pressing. This does not replace an ironing board when piecing together a quilt but is very handy for working on blocks or small projects.

Love this thing. Saw it on some you tube videos, so decided to give it a try, and just am very happy with it. Keeping it on sewing table beside me as I work, and do not have to get up and down to press smaller seams, Really helps speed up my work, time saving, very functional, and you just turn it over, and there is a rotary cutting matt on opposite side so quick small rotary jobs can be done right at sewing machine as I go. Happy with this product.

Love this!!! I leave it on my sewing table and after I put quilt patches together, press them immediately! Definitely worth the money. I love this thing!

As someone who loves patchwork I had been toying with the idea of a cutting/pressing mat for a while, but been put off by the price - after all I have an ironing board how can I justify the expense? However determined not to waste an amazon voucher I had been given as a gift, I decided to buy something I would not normally buy for myself. This was one of the items. All I can say is why have I been so tight fisted? It was an absolute joy to be able to press my seams and check finish sizes all at the same time. The item itself is sturdy and the markings are clear. There is more than enough padding to the board to ensure that your work surface is not damaged, but it is firm enough to get a good amount of pressure on the fabric. The only thing I would say is that the handle is not as robust as the rest of the mat - but I didn't buy it for the handle so this does not diminish my view that this is a brilliant addition to any sewing room.
