This food was prescribed by a vet internist who said our dog was in final stage of liver disease and had 1 month to live at most. She previously had lost all of her appetite. She suggested this for the most pickiest eater. Whereas the dog is now on prednisone she will eat this food whole heartedly compared to other liver support food. Easy to keep, open and reclose. Refridgerate after opening. I add just a tiny bit of water with it. Could not find it anywhere and Petco was only one listed (which they had but would not sell as for our city they said it is illegal for them to sell it since they don't have an onsite vet and were sending the food back). So luckily Amazon had it and contacted the vet for approval. Simple ingredients. Vet told us we needed a low protein low copper diet which this food does meet those requirements. Thankful for the help from the company and working with amazon and vet. Wish I would have known about it earlier. Hard to find a vet specialist that knows this issue well.

This food was nearly all rice. It smelled bad and my dog would not eat it. Non-returnable, such a waste of money. Highly dissatisfied

My vet recommended this food due to my dogs dietary/ health needs. My pet is usually not very picky but she absolutely hated the food. She sniffed it and walked away each time I offered it. Unfortunately, I can’t return this so it was a HUGE waste of money that I don’t have.
