I have to use this in the field and it is big enough for an 11x17 but never felt cumbersome. It is lightweight which is good for long hours ion the filed yet was strong enough where I didn't feel it was going to break. Would definitely recommend this field tested (by me at least) product!

This board is everything I hoped for in size, quality, and appearance. The wood is smooth and level. The clip is very functional. I plan to use it for nature study to hold the paper for drawing or painting. There is enough room for supplies. This is my first to try out for a larger purchase for a class.

This product works perfect for my kids - to allow them to draw or color in various locations including the car while traveling. It's a large size to give them plenty of room and protect surfaces around them from marker. Not flimsy! Plus, it is very light weight, so it's easy enough for my 3 yr old to carry around. Highly recommend!

I needed a clip board to hold an 11â€x14†signup form. This one is the perfect size for that. The board is decent quality, not like the particle board clipboards you see that are affected by moisture. The writing surface is smooth, no bumps to throw off the writing. It is lightweight which is nice considering how big it is. The clip os likely adequate if it will be laying flat, I have this hanging on the wall so I added bulldog clips to keep the form securely attached. It could also use a more substantial ring to hang it. Luckily the bulldog clip on the top acts as a hanger. This is a worth the price as a huge clipboard, not a size you can find just anywhere.

I draw plans for model ships, i needed a good strong clipboard as a drafting table, the clip at the top is great hold hold my paper straight and it hos plans for tracing

Works great for my watercolor paintings that I tape down. Would love to be able to remove the clip but not a problem.
