Used this for a kids birthday party and it is very strong as a lot of other reviewers have said. Younger kids (think like 3-6) hardly made a dent, even though they were using a very sturdy wooden stick. Finally was broken by a 10 year old but only because it fell off of the hanger. Had to help it along afterwards by making it rain candy. That being said, I'd still give this 5 stars. It holds a lot of candy, and you don't want a pinata that's too easy to break because then not everyone gets a turn. With this every kid got 2 turns up, and 3 swings each, and that's certainly better than the alternative! My only gripe is I think it was a little pricy, but for the most part got the value out of it, and the kids were happy!

Super cute pinata. Great size and good quality. I don't write a lot of reviews, but thought this one deserved it. It was a great addition to my little one's 1st birthday party. Well made and held up pretty well through some good hits!

I guess the measurements don’t lie, I just expected bigger for the price, it’s very hard to bust. I got for my toddler bday and had to start ripping the box open for them because it was taking to long, literally the size of a table placement (decor) had to stuff candy inside

Pinata ambivalence is real, #amitire parents? It's not easy to spend money on an item that's sole purpose is to be destroyed by children, Lord of the Flies style, only to yield piles of sugary sweets, spinning them up into an animal-like fervor, high on the thrill of their kill and corn syrup. And yet, because I love my children oh so dearly, and this odd ritual makes them oh so happy, I do it every year. Hence, this review."Gold Foil Number 4 Pinata for 4th Birthday Party Decorations" is a good pinata, if you are willing to accept the premise that any pinata can be truly "good."It is big, but not TOO big (see attached photo with golf ball for size reference). It is sturdy, but not TOO sturdy. It's not perfect. The little hanger loop it came with broke off while I was stuffing it, and I replaced it with a zip tie. No biggie. We had a line-up of about 8 kids (aged 3-9) and each was able to take 2 turns, 3 whacks each, before it broke open. Overall, their athletic abilities were fair-to-middling. In my humble opinion, this was the right amount of whacking.I bought a 2lb bag of mixed, wrapped candies (tiny bags of Sour Patch Kits, M&Ms, tiny candy bars, etc) and that was enough to stuff it tight. There was plenty of candy for 8 kids.It was one of the more affordable pinatas available (I paid about $20) and it did a good job.I would recommend this pinata. Good luck.

I thought it was beautiful and super sturdy. Was fairly easy to fill with candy. I was kinda disappointed in the size of it, but I probably should’ve double checked on the measurements. As cute as it was, it was EXTREMELY difficult for the kids to break open and they were using a mini aluminum bat. The smarties that I used to fill it up and some of the other candies were broken up inside of it and it pretty much required me to break it in half by hand to get the candy out. Was still cute, but made a candy mess all over the floor.

The quality of the foil gold number six piñata was good. I thought it was small, but it was OK. I stuffed it with some money. let all the kids take a punch at it and then I just broke it up and spread it all over the place. but before I put the candy in it I always like to put like slits in it to make it weaker so that the kids is able to try to hit it to get it open and if not, I’m able to just rip it open easily.

Kids at the birthday party were unfortunately left disappointed after this thing fell apart from one 8 year old wack. Not a strong one either. One solitary wack from a small child and the top where the you hang it from broke off. No satisfying candy spill, either. I don't even care about the money but it made the birthday girl cry and I wish I'd purchased a different one.

The piñata was great for a 4 year old party. Easy to fill, came with extra hole cover stickers, and fit a lot of treats! It was difficult to break because of it being so heavy duty, but we managed!

Purchased for a toddler party. The quality was so good, it took an adult breaking into it at the end to get the candy to fall. 12 kids had a good wack at it too ! Would buy again.

It is made out of really thick cardboard so the kids had no chance of breaking it on their own. Way too sturdy for something meant to be broken by children.
