My rats just adore this basket, so comfy and nice. Very easy to set up, and it's very secure, holding good. It's cute design and the colour. I ordered the large size for two rats, just perfect!!! The only thing, they might bite the fabric, but if that happens I can use a towel instead. Would be nice if this basket came with an extra fabric

I bought the "small" version of this hammock, and it fits my adult rats perfectly! While I didn’t use the hooks that came with it (couldn't figure them out initially—later realized instructions are on the Amazon product page), I secured it to the cage with zip ties, and it worked out great.Yes, the fluffy cushion insert does get destroyed quickly, but that’s just typical rat behavior and not a flaw in the product. My rats chewed a hole in it, repurposed the stuffing throughout the cage, and now actually sleep inside the cushion.I toss the cushion in the washing machine weekly, and it’s held up remarkably well even with a hole in it. Even six months later, it’s still their favorite place to nap. Highly recommend for anyone with small rodents! ðŸ€â¤ï¸

Our rats LOVE these. We have two of these hanging baskets, though we tend to find all of our rats piling into one together. The lining that it comes with will not last very long as most rat owners are aware of so I was not expecting much from that. It is NOT chew proof as most rat owners should also be aware of. We usually put a little washable blanket in there for them and let them lounge. Great for pet rats.

my rats love it, it easy to put in the cage and they love to sleep in it, although they liked to chew up the bedding. It’s super easy to clean too.

I got this away back and I never wrote a review because they never used it in the beginning. They would just take out the bedding that it comes with and up it in their hammock or something like that. It’s pretty sturdy buttt they can take it off the side of the cage sometimes. Regardless of that there isn’t any chew marks from my babies so it’s perfect! Everything else is chewed up in there cage except this. I was so pissed that I spent 19 bucks on this (could be cheaper, but I still love it) and they never used it. I looked in their cage today to check on them and here they are using it! So cute and adorable, definitely worth it!

The basket itself is easy to clean and the hooks are sturdy and appear secure. Not the easiest to get hung because the hooks twirl so easily. The bedding didn’t last even half a day. My 4 rats demolished it and tore out the stuffing. The little minky blanket that came with also won’t last, and will only make a mess so I haven’t given it to them. I’ll get some pieces of fleece to use instead.In retrospect, I probably should have gotten the large one, since really only 1-2 rats fit in the small. But at nearly $20 for just the small, I feel that is already too much for the basket. I didn’t want to pay even more for the large, especially when I wasn’t sure the product would be worth the price.

They were hesitant to use it at first, but Roddy eventually figured out he could use it to hide from his brother. Unfortunately, for him, Remy found him.Thankfully, they both fit perfectly. It secures well to the cage and it must be comfortable for them because they have on occasion dragged the inner cushion area to other parts of the cage.It’s very cute, well made and easy to attach where needed. Highly recommend.

It’s really good and comfy for my rats, they love to snuggle in it but I unfortunately did not receive the hooks so I had to do a diy hook situation. It’ll hold for now but as they get bigger I’ll have to take it down.
