What is a turkey baster?
A turkey baster is the easiest way to lock in juice and moisture when cooking roast meats. For that melt-in-the-mouth consistency and crispy, glossy skin, you need to constantly baste meat while it cooks. That means redistributing cooking juices and marinades to make sure it’s seeping into every part of your joint evenly Without the right tools, that can be messy – and where hot liquids are involved, potentially dangerous. Why do you have to baste turkeys?

How to use a turkey baster?

This product is extremely durable and the price is perfect. I really love that it came with two injector tools. This year was only the second year that I had to bake a turkey... And with the injector tools this turkey was much better than the last.

The only thing that might be a small minus would be the size as this really well made and durable baster is about half the size of my old glass unit. When "old faithful" broke, I decided on unbreakable stainless steel. You can't see what's inside; however, that is really not necessary and rather that taking one large amount of liquid, I can take two. No big deal. The suction is perfect for the size of the unit and the needles for brining are brilliant!!! This is the kind of baster that you can pass down for generations!

We used this baster for a large turkey!! It was so easy to use! Not only did it work for basting, it worked with the attachment for injecting it with broth and seasonings too! It never leaked while using it! I highly recommend this!!

I have bought many basters over the years, this is the most recent one and will probably be the only one o get from now on. Unlike the plastic ones, this won’t melt when it gets hot, which is usually the demise of the others. It is built well, and so durable, I’ve used it over a dozen times with no issues! It’s easy to put together, no leaks while basting, however the infuser ends do cause a leak if you get it jammed. Best value for what it does, just watch out, it does get as hot as the liquid you are sucking up so make sure not to grab the metal part!
