Check size chart first before you buy it, size chart can be found at K1 website. I measure 42 and large fit perfect.Size is definitely not the part hold you back, because it will protect your ribs for sure even it does not fit perfectly. Although I do have a few complains about this vest. First of all will be the padding, it is thick, but they do not share a thick base at the button which mean it does not distribute force too well compare with carbon version. Second is the shoulder strap, carbon version has similar problem. It slips a lot, especially when you push you kart to the starting line.

Received incorrect size with first orders 2nd order (correct size) didnt fit. Also buyer bewarned these are not WFI approved rib protection for many kart leagues.

The rib protector is totally worth the money. The one thing I cant stand is that there are so actual size charts for females. After reading over 100 reviews and checking the manufacturer's website. I had to opt for a large due to my 13yr old daughter's chest size. And no size charts for females but after a slight modification we got it to fit perfectly. There is a large lack of information in the karting world for females. We should have ordered a medium but this will last her a long time to come.

Good quality, I usually wear a European large size tshirt, this large vest feels like an American large, still feels loose even on the tightest setting. But still works to protect the ribs

Price difference between a medium vest and a lager vest is a bit unfair. Dont understand why. The vest overall is good, great material, easy to use. Large was a bit big for me, added extra velcro straps to adjust the fit.
