The KHIPPUS K410 Ultraviolet Counterfeit Detector provides a manual, compact and portable counterfeit detection solution for businesses and organizations in the constant fight against fake bills and IDs. The UV led easily detect fake bills and ID cards by revealing fluorescent strips, dots, and other markings that are invisible to the naked eye. Unit also comes with a UV detection guide for 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 dollar bills that will show what markings to look for in authentic bills. When presented with a questionable bill or ID, simply place bill or document on the detection place and turn on the UV light. Check for either the glowing security threads and/or holographic images on IDs to prove the bill or ID authenticity. Its compact design allows it to fit in tight spaces and to be carried on the go. The only thing I don't like is that I have to slide some bills all the way to the left or all the way to the right to get a perfect line-up to match the strips. There are color codes on the base that line up with the bill. You can tell at a glance if the strip color is correct and in the right spot. I love how quickly you can use it. The charge lasts quite a while so you can move it wherever you need it. It doesn't have to stay connected to a plug-in.

Bought this to use during outdoor vending events. It worked when tested at home but not at all when we tried to use it at an outdoor event. Thinking maybe it's not for outdoor use.
