My 5yr old & 8 yr old are COMPLETLY into Aquabeads... but they are rather costly. This is the best bang for your buck & compatible. The cost cant be beat, particularly with all the extra gadgets that comes with this set. If I need more in the future, I will definitely re buy this set!

Got our first set for our 9 year old granddaughter. But our 4 and 5 year old grandsons loved them---WITH SUPERVISION. So we bought a second set and a couple sets of extra beads already. The kids have moved on from the patterns and are designing their own patterns now. It is a very creative craft activity--relatively clean: no glue, you really only use water to melt them together. The beads are small, but for the 4 and 5 year olds, this is great for gross and small muscle control for development, and the color matching and pattern making is very educational.

Kids love these things. Used this pack to refill a set that they had depleted. The only thing weird about these is there seems to be a bit of excess glue/binder as compared to the last set that we had that was a different brand. It's good in that the things stick better but bad in that sometimes you get a bit of extra on the edges and on the surface.

I have three children who love aqua peds we’ve gotten the on brand aqua beads and it’s just expensive to be able to have the amount needed for three children. We got two of these and we’ve made so many things and still haven’t even busted into the second pack we bought.

If you like Aquabeads, don’t hesitate just get these! These are honestly a little better than Aquabeads in my opinion they’re a little heavier and it makes your design feel so much more sturdy. So far I’ve done these with my kit and I’ve barely made a dent in the beads! The metal keychain is a little difficult to attach at first but you get the hang of it! I will continue to buy these 10/10
