UPDATE TO REVIEW: It started out great but now the switch to turn on the light no longer works. With only a few months of occasional use, I am disappointed in this product.What was originally written:Great light. The base is kind of big, but good because the light won’t tip over. The base is a little awkward if you are placing the light on a desk. Lighting is very nice on camera. I’m still trying to figure out how to connect the phone attachment-the instructions are a bit vague for me. It’s very easy to extend the light to make it higher or lower and the light can be positioned to tilt at any angle which is nice. Overall, a nice light and good price for what you get.

Been using this light for a couple years now, and it's done a pretty good job! I wear glasses so I need it to extend up a fair bit on my desk to angle down at me, and it's been satisfactory! The different light colors and range of brightnesses are nice options. I wish it was somewhat heavier as it can rattle around pretty easily, but it's not a big deal.

I'm not a lighting expert and just use this ring light for attending classes remotely. It works great for that, and it is inexpensive. My light stopped working after about 6 months and I contacted the company by e-mail and they quickly responded AND mailed me a whole new ring light - all I asked for was the BULB. That's some great customer service. I think maybe the issue was that the brick I was using was one of those small square Apple bricks - upon inspection it is 5V/1 amp, and they clearly recommended 5V/2 amp - I think I wasn't providing enough power to the light. Now I need to find a 5V/2 amp brick to plug the USB end of the provided cable into. Happy customer.

Genuinely the best ring light on the market. The stand is small and easily transferable, especially if you need to move it from room to room in a small space. The ring light is the perfect size - it is not too big and lights up the subject perfectly. You can place the phone holder anywhere, I hate ring lights that only allow you to place the phone at the top of the stand by the ring itself, you can even take this phone stand off and put it on a different tripod for different lighting effects! I love the 3 color choices of light temperature, it's not an overwhelming amount of choices and makes it easy to pick the vibe of the video/photo. Having a Bluetooth remote to turn on/off recording on your phone is so so so convenient when filming at a distance. Best purchase ever! Thank you!

I really liked how light this was, easy to move, to adjust. However, the botton to turn it on is super cheap. It randomly went out and when I went to turn it on it kept turning off right away and wouldn't stay on. The light would flash, it would show power, but it wouldn't turn back on. After a while I stopped trying. I unplugged it for months. Thought I'd give it one more go before I tossed it in the trash since it was beyond the return time. It worked! Only for about a week more, then it did the some thing. I was afraid to take it apart as there was no way to look inside and see without breaking it open and I don't want a light I have to spend more time in fixing then it cost to buy.
