This is a beautiful little weighted blanket that comes in its own carrier. Makes a great gift! In fact, I purchased the larger 5 lb for my Autistic self and the 3 lb for my ADHD Teen for their birthday, who did not think they would like it, and they love theirs as well. In fact, despite having insomnia, they fell asleep with it pretty quickly. It makes a nice lap pad at 2 x 3 ft approx, and the larger one makes a nice throw for your lap, legs, chest and fits nicely across a recliner chair. Is perfect for me because I find comfort from warm hugs but not the usual heavy weighted blankets where I feel claustrophobic and trapped. I have respiratory disease, panic attacks and severe muscle cramps and I don't want anything smothering me, so these are just the perfect weight and size to give me the kind of gentle pressure I need without being oppressive.Its a throw size I can just fling off if I need to in a second. And its so soft! The weight is nicelyand evenly distributed with glass beads. Durable and well-made, though not as thick as I expectedit would be. Would be convenient for travel. I love it!!

I actually bought this for a weighted blanket for our cats. :) Perfect function!The design is cute, looking like a leaf, and the size is perfect. It's very soft, with quality fabric and stitching! We move it around and the cats will lay on it as well. It's been quite durable with all the tossing! It's been used as it was intended as well, on human laps, and it provides a nice added warmth and coziness.

We have a couple of small dogs and cats who like to burrow under the covers at times. The full-sized weighted blankets were too big and we considered them to be a danger to our small pets. These are great for the benefit of a weighted blanket to the person while not totally weighing down the pets. Very pleased with the quality. Very soft velvety fabric and attractive shape.

So many lovely qualities to this blanket!! I bought it for its portability; I love that it comes with a cute little bag. However there are so many more qualities I love more than the portability now that I own it! The shape allows for more flexibility in positioning than traditional shape, and is engaging since it’s different. I work in mental health therapy, and I use this in my office with clients—since it’s so light, I don’t have to worry about weight as blankets that are more designed for an occupational therapy use. My clients love that it’s leaf-shaped and soft. This makes it engaging for those who might feel embarrassed about using a full-sized blanket in public. The small size I can tell is also calming for my clients with trauma who like the little comfort but don’t want to feel “stuck†under a larger blanket that would be hard to “escape†from if something bad happened. Almost all of my clients use it now and I’m so happy! I also really like to use it on my shoulders while writing notes in between sessions to relieve tension after engaging with emotionally charged conversations. I would encourage anyone to just make the snap purchase; you’ll just find out it has become a life staple and it’s so affordable to add into daily life!

I love the color and the leaf pattern!! I enjoyed the comforting feeling this provided, but I'd get the heavier one instead. In fact, I may buy the 7lb one and use it in a different room i like this so much!

I set up a cozy corner and this blanket is a must. It's warm and soft. It's the perfect size for my child and it is perfect for my lap. I like the weight. I wish there was a slightly heavier one. I have remedied that by adding 15lb cat to my lap. :) my cat also approves of this blanket.
