These are good if, like me, you REALLY need to shave weight off the headstock. For that, they are great, and featherlight. They work fine, but are flexy and could be broken if you really twist them hard and carelessly. They hold tuning well, and don’t seem to drift. Honestly, that’s all a tuner needs to do. I’m semi-professional, and I think they work great.

Had a bass that had bad neck dive with HEAVY tuners that were not great. These are lighter by quite a bit, but action is as bad as my current tuners and not worth the money asked for these. Returned.

The tuners are light, about half the weight of stock tuners. Don’t let the strength of carbon fiber fool you. You need to be careful handling your bass with these tuners, top parts of the tuners will snap right off if mishandled. The mounting screws pattern is the older fender non-reverse pattern.
