I needed something compact to hold my records. This record holder fit the bill exactly. It was easy to put together and even gave you two different colored sets of screws so if you like black use black and if you like silver use silver. It was really sturdy when put together. It took maybe three minutes to put together. I really liked how the acrylic came with plastic on it so you could tear it off and have really shiny and clean acrylic. it also comes with a screwdriver and a cloth the polish the acrylic. This was exactly what I needed, and holds my record securely. I really glad I got this one.

It was easy to assemble and looks great!! I love the clear panels, they still let you see the record art. Wish they made it for 7".

+Easy to assemble. And made in the USA (-no offense China!).I purchased four of these to hold my record collection of about 150 LP's. They work great!I really like the design where you can store your albums upright enough to keep them safe, but also be able to flip through them easily and see what's what...And this holder looks really good!-Albeit as long as you have room to store your records in this format. -I say that because I recommended the KAIU Vinyl Record Storage Holder to a friend of mine who lives in a small apartment and his reply was 'it looks awesome, but I don't have the floor/display space'!So if you have space for a storage system like this, my vote is absolutely two thumbs up! 👍👍Cheers friends.

Excellent value for this item. The plexiglass plates are just large enough to hold 7 inch records. The wood is unfinished, which is fine. I've purchased another hand made of this type from a vendor on Itsy so I'll compare it to that one. This one was considerably less costlier. I paid over double the cost for the other storage rack. The Itsy one is much more refined. I was a finished wood product but as these things go I would have rather not paid double for the finishing. Thus the value. If there was a single complaint, I would say that there is no provision for spacing the lower wood bases. What I was actually expecting and it is hard to tell from the product picture, is notches in the plexiglass to ensure consistent spacing between the wood bases. This is not the case. The bases slide inward and outward. This isn't entirely bad as spacing them closer for 7" records is probably better while separating them toward the edges of the plexiglass would be better for LPs. My solution to this will probably to place some small blocks of between the bases and glue them together. Either that or drill the bases and space them with dowels. The blocks are probably easier and sufficient. To be honest, if notches in the plexiglass couldn't have been provided, it would have been nice if dowels with pre-drilled holes in the bases were provided. The longer length dowel to space them for LPs would be sufficient. You could always cut them down if you were going to use the rack for only 7" records. If the bases had included a provision to properly space the bases, I would have gave a 5 star rating. It's still a decent product as-is and very usable. With some simple DIY it can be improved with some scrap wood that I have laying around.

Simply put, you get what is pictured and it works as advertised. Definitely fits around 50 records and looks nice sitting on the top of my bookshelf since it wouldn’t fit anywhere else. The only bummer was that it didn’t come assembled so there was a little time spent there, but it was super easy. I feel like this is one of those projects where I could make it myself for a little bit cheaper, but I have no idea where I would get the little acrylic for the back in front and simply don’t have the time. When I run out of space I will definitely buy another one, again.

I don't write amazon reviews because I tend to buy just random household things/electronics that don't matter too much in quality. But I take my vinyl seriously, so here it goes:I bought 2 of these since they are advertised to hold 50 12x12 records each. Both were the same in quality and everything was there that needed to be. Putting these together was quick; only about 5 minutes for both combined. The quality overall is fine, nothing crazy but as stated before, it works. The one actual complaint I have on the quality is there's no way to keep the glass in place unless I suppose you glue it. So if you plan on only using this for a few records, beware the weight might not be heavy enough to keep the glass from sliding around when shifting the records. Now, speaking of the records... believe it or not, the actual function of this product is my main problem with it. It DOES NOT like double LPs, or really any gatefold vinyl. The ridges meant to hold the records cause gatefold records to skip over a ridge on one side and not the other. It's a hard thing to explain, but the point is, it causes all the records to start shifting to the left on an angle. Which then makes it so you can't put 50 records on it. So if you're someone with a lot of gatefold LPs like myself, you might want to look somewhere else. Actually, yes, look somewhere else, because it's pretty annoying.Overall the headline explains it, it gets the job done, especially more comfortably than what I was working with before (just regular book ends). Who is this product for? Someone that might not be too serious about collecting records or just wants a decent display item next to your record player. If you're a serious collector as I am, I would look at bigger and better solutions for storage such as drawers/tables that are made to hold records.

I found the record holder very easy to set up and have no issues with sturdiness. After reading some reviews, I was a bit worried about the quality and capacity of the design, but I found it to be nicer looking than I was expecting and it holds quite a few records (note that a number of those pictured here are doubles and/or thicker editions). I will obviously need another one soon as my collection grows nearly daily and I will not hesitate to repurchase this product.

I like the idea and the quality of the materials seems good but I find the acrylic plates much too small, so when the stand is full (+- 50 records) the top half of the first records bend slightly under the weight of the pile.

Comes unconstructed but easy. The clear Perspex is note fixed in so appears to slide from side to side but once installed this is not a problem. Simple design, works and looks good.
