The design of this incense holder is so simple, and yet so perfect for my needs. The sticks are held at an angle which enables the sizable tray below to catch any falling ash that might present itself. It keeps my dresser, where I prefer to burn my incense, perfectly clean. The craftsmanship is lovely as well, and the non-skid feet at the base of the holder add an extra touch of usefulness. I will buy this again when I need more and have already recommended it. I am a blind incense user, and let's face it. Sometimes I like to know I have a holder that will catch anything and everything without my having to fiddle with it. This is that holder for me. I also love the ability to burn 2 sticks at once. I've not yet done it, but I love that I can should I wish to. I also appreciate how easy this is to clean. For me, I can just brush the ash out with a hand and before long it looks as though none was ever there to begin with.

This is an attractive piece of woodworking. It's understated, large, and catches all the ashes. Best of all, it's made of wood and has two holes. I drilled one hole out to fit the Japanese incense with no stick on the end. It's a keeper.

So tired of cleaning up ash! No matter what kind of burner or additional plates I'd try, there was always ash on the table. This is pretty - very smooth wood - and catches ALL of the ash! It's easy to wipe down between burns. Love it!

Because it's made in India, it's designed for the type of incense stick that has a bamboo core. Since my favorite incense is Japanese, it lacks a bamboo core and is too fragile to be forced into the small hole in this incense tray. So I put a small ceramic tile (with a larger hole) on the tray and the incense fits easily into it, and the tray catches the ashes – which is exactly what I needed. It's the perfect solution to the problem of falling ashes.

I have another similar incense boat style holder, but upon purchasing a second one from the same name, I noticed their craftsmanship declined. The holes were horribly drilled...either too small, not even on each side or drilled right thru the wood. And it no longer came with the four cushions on the bottom to keep it from scratching your furniture or keeping it in place. Searched and saw this particular one and immediately upon receiving it, I knew it was perfectly made. The holes have the perfect size for the average 11" incense stick and are drilled where they're supposed to be. Beautiful natural wood and has the four cushions on the bottom. And most importantly, it catches all the ashes.

What a great purchase! Very well made - and looks fantastic, at a great price. Larger than I was expecting. Been using mine for a month or so now - it catches all of the ash and keeps things tidy. Nicely finished solid wood, rubber feet on the bottom - the workmanship at this price point really is fantastic. Thinking of buying another - highly recommended!!!

The quality is beautiful, the wood has a beautiful grain on the one that I have and the colour is deep and rich. The tray easily catches ashes without any mess and is easy to clean. Because of other reviews I was prepared to have to drill larger holes for the incense sticks to fit, but it was unnecessary. Both holes are large enough for regular size incense. My photo shows one incense stick burning, but two fit easily. I am able to burn one or two at the same time if I choose. It could easily be used as a key tray or for personal items like jewellery. I like to keep crystals in the tray while I burn incense. It would make a lovely gift to someone who enjoys incense.

I like the natural look of this and the size. And it holds two at once which is nice. I definitely recommend. Easy to clean.Bought multiple for different rooms and would buy again or include as part of a gift.
