I actually use this for holding wipes in my craft room. The lid fits well and keeps them damp for several days. It is well made and heavy enough that it stays put.

I just got this salt box. I am always a little concerned when purchasing these types of things made of stone, because if there are any flaws at all in the stone, it will crack very easily. Well, as I was taking the salt box out of the plastic and wiping out the inside of any dust, I accidentally dropped it on the kitchen floor! I was so mad at myself. But, nope! It did not crack at all. It’s still all in one piece and not a flaw anywhere. I am VERY happy with my purchase!

This was purchased to hold an expensive finishing salt I received as a gift. It’s attractive and has the heft to stay where placed. The lid fit well too. While I would find it too small to as a primary every day salt well it works just fine to hold something special and sparingly used.

A salt box is a salt box, except this one looks nicer than most, and very importantly (to me at least) it is nice and heavy so it doesn't get moved around or spilled when bumped or when reaching for a pinch of salt.

I am just getting into the world of more expensive salts, and wanted to make sure I was storing them properly. I started with a basic jar with a locking lid, but was annoyed at opening and closing.This stone version with a heavy seated lid has been fantastic. Holds just enough, and looks great. I am not entirely sure how durable it is, but it was carved out of rock, so it feels very well made.I would definitely recommend this for others looking to store spices of any kind!
