I started a off road buggy build and needed a pipe notcher. After reading reviews on several different brands this was the notcher I went with. Finished the build and it is still working like it did new out the box. For the hobbyist that does some pipe work roll bars,buggy builds, etc this is the perfect tool. If I did this for a living or a lot you might want to get something made more for that but in the same sentence this notcher could work well with multiple builds and work fine. Very nice product and I am a picky person.

I really liked that it shipped in an oiled wrapper. The revolving shaft has a long bearing surface and the solidity of the frame is superb. Great tool!

This product was damaged within the first five minutes of using it. The threads stripped out holding the hole saw. Had really good reviews from what I was reading, but seems to be really cheap materials.

This tubing notcher is well built, as far as strength. However they did all the great building and didn’t line things up. The self centering pipe clamp does not line up with the center line of the drill stem. It can be fixed by shimming the clamp portion or milling the drill stem support. Sure hate to see a product 90% well built and then have it not be able to perform its function properly. It is almost good! Definitely has potential, you just need to rebuild part of it. Likely, if you are looking at tubing notchers, you have the ability to fix the issues with this product
