I placed it on my rearview mirror in my 2025 Ram 1500. Yes, it is off by a few degrees but otherwise no problems. Probably all of these vehicle compasses work alright outside of a vehicle. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to make a decent compass. The problem lies with all of the metal and electronics in modern vehicles which adversely affects the magnetism. Can't blame the compass. The only thing that perhaps should be done is for the sellers to outright say that up front. Bottom Line: The lousy reviews of most of these various vehicle compasses has nothing to do with the compasses. I took a chance on this compass. Even if it hadn't worked I would not have returned it nor left a lousy review.

Difficult to attach. Once attached difficult to see. When you could see the compass, it always pointed to the same direction.

For whatever reason my Toyota Rav didn't come with a built in compass this took seconds to hand on my rear view mirror. 100% accurate

I have it a little over a year & the liquid inside the ball vaporized. Since the design is intended to be installed on windshield under rear view mirror, should last much longer than a year.I will not recommend this product except if you need it for a very short time.

The item is exactly what I expected and wanted . BUUUT..... it's missing a piece referred to as "Elastic Band."adjusts perfectly, the directional letters (NWES) are a good color and large. but no elastic band to hold it securely to the mirror.
