It's almost too small for my son who weighs 80 lbs. Sizing chart says it fits up to 90 lbs. I will have to order a size larger soon, as he will probably grow out of it very soon. However, it is still a good value. Prompt shipping. Very satisfied

They run small. My son usually wears a size 14 jeans. I should have ordered these jammers in a size 18 (XL) instead of 14/16 (L). **Editing my post** I changed the stars from 3 to 1. My son has been wearing the jammers for 2 weeks (5 days a week, 2hrs a day). He rinses them when he gets out of the pool and hangs them to dry. The elastic is already disintegrating. Very poor quality!

Overall, it's a good product for its price and quality. However, the size really caused some trouble for me. It took me 3 times to get the right size. My boy is 11 years old and he's of the average height and a little light in weight for his age. I started with medium, then large and X-large. Fortunately, the returns didn't cost me extra bucks. I really appreciate the quality customer services offered by Amazon.

UPDATE 6/4/17: We liked the ones we bought last year, a size Medium, so much I bought again this year. This time we got a LARGE, and it is the same size around, not any bigger than the Mediums. The only difference is that they are an inch so longer. Boo. Gonna have to send these back. Changing the rating from 4 stars to 2 stars.UPDATE: Purchased 2016 & now 1 year later 2017: Shorts have held up remarkably well (especially compared to a Nike pair my son also has). I think these are a very good value (as long as you understand they run small and get the correct size). I am buying a new pair, one size bigger, for this season.ORIGINAL REVIEW (4 stars): I read reviews before purchasing these jammers. The sizing name different then other jammers, which usually come in waist sizes, 22, 24, 26, and so on, and not Small, Med, Large like these. I think that is where the confusion is with the sizing, along with knowing that jammers fit very snugly. Other reviews, like the one from Maryland Mom & Mom of Boys were very helpful. What they said in a nutshell was that the sizing is approximately: S=22 M=24 L=26, that these are longer then other brands (like TYR and Nike) and the quality is a bit lower. I ordered a Medium for my small 7 year old son (50 lbs, 3'9" & wears a 6 pant). He has size 22 jammers by Nike from last year that are getting a little small on him, but still fit ok. The medium Kanu's are not much bigger around, but they are much longer (about to his knees). I imagine we could have even purchased a large, though they might be way too long. This brand might be great for tall, thin boys. The material seems ok, a little rougher then his Nikes and maybe a little thinner. But for the price, they seem worth it. With the way that kids sit on cement at the pool - even the best quality is going to get worn out fast.

Update:These are a great buy. They are still holding up well with 3-4x/week use for >6 months. Perhaps a little bit of pilling from the black fabric but they have not gotten all stretched out or become translucent (unlike the other pair of jammers my son was alternating with over the summer). We run them through a rinse cycle after each use, and machine wash once weekly with other assorted laundry (cold, in a lingerie bag).Original review:After reading reviews I got size XL for relatively tall, thin 9 year old (4'11", 68lbs). The size is probably a little loose for swim team but he is comfortable. We've been rinsing them after each swim and washing once per week, hang to dry. Last summer we got a pair of speedos that were stretched out after 2 months of every other day use -- I don't see any reason why these won't last at least that long.

Had to return it as it runs small for size. Though the quality of the product was good.

My son just turned 9 and he is about 68lbs. The XL works for him, it is probably just a smidge too big (for competition), but he wore it in a meet yesterday and it did great. When I first got it, I was worried because it looks a little thing and see-through, but when he put it on it was not a problem.

I read the reviews and was warned these are small. My 11 yr old is very skinny (could still wear size 6 if items weren't too short), so I thought this brand would fit him based on the reviews. I ordered him a medium. Typically, a medium is very roomy on him and oh how I was wrong, these are tiny!! They were so tight he couldn't get them up his skinny chicken legs. Since it's his first pair of jammers, I think I'll buy locally so he can try them on. Not going to order this brand of anything again since it's too difficult to estimate size.

Excelente! Buen producto, no le pide nada a las marcas renombradas, solo que si hay que pedir una o dos tallas mas grande, como lo mencionan en comentarios anteriores y lo cual yo hice!
