Bought this stator had it installed by my mechanic, drove 1 day and the check engine and battery light came back on.. brought it back to my mechanic who tested everything and come to find the stator is no good, waste of money and now need to order a whole setup and pay for labor all over again.... save yourself the headache and avoid this product

I got this stator coil for a 2007 Sportster XL1200L. It looks physically compatible and will fit. I wouldn't be surprised if both the OEM stator and this product came from the same factory. After installation, I will use the motorcycle for a few months and see if this product holds up to the electrical demands of the motorcycle. If I'm disappointed, you'll hear back from me. But for now, at $85.99 (current price at the time of writing this review) this appears to be an excellent deal. An equivalent Cycle Electric stator runs for well over $100.

This looks great. I have not had a chance to install yet, but it seems well made from quality materials. The rubber boot that is used as a grommet seems really hard. I will have to see how it fits the casing. Overall it is sturdy and when compared to the existing one it looks the same. I think it is a nice product for the price.
