A new higher standard in 4-carrier braiding technology. Hammer Braid Line utilizes a proprietary process where the individual fibers are pretreated prior to the braiding process to maximize the lines’ overall strength while decreasing the diameter. The diameter is smaller than similar 4-carrier braids in the same pound test. The pre-treating process increases the line knot strength up to 20% over standard 4-carrier braids.

During the pre-treating process, the molecular construction of the fiber changes, allowing the realignment of the fibers to create a smoother surface. Great pricing on this, and available in a number of colors to match your presentation needs. I’ve got this on a few reels now, and it works as well as any other braid I’ve used at a lower price point. Good and strong, nice and thin. Braid is a bit of learning curve but worth it.

This review is for the 15 lb Moss Green line. 1st time purchase for line from Kast King but have several of their reels and very pleased so wanted to try their other products. My first impression is the box has an opening on the side for when you need to spool up a line, its so convenient to have it stay in the box and not have to rig up something. The box itself I hope will be reusable after the line is gone. Tried a few knots and all were easy to accomplish since the line is so thin. Tried with gloves to see if it would break or stretch by hand strength and not a budge at all. I can see why other review say this is easy to cast given its diameter. I'm waiting for winter to calm down and put this to a further test with various lure weights but I'm betting I will like it very much.

Easy to wind on my reel. I applied a lot of tension when initially reeling. First time out let it all out and reeled it back in while boat was moving. After doing this had no issues with wind knots or tingling. Line worked well with no breaks or fraying. Would recommend.

Seems like a quality braid. Spooled up a 30 size Lews Xfinity Speed Spin with 15lb Hammer Braid(black) to a 3' fluorocarbon leader joined using an FG Knot. Tried seeing if I could create failure at the knot to no avail. Seems like it should hold up. Will update once I've got some casts and hopefully some fish on it.

The line bleeds. Got color all over my hand. Would like to return it but already got it on my reel.Update; customer service reached out to me bout the issue and replaced me with another one free of charge. Customer service was second to none. This is a fine braid with great breaking strength, but I don't recommend it for small reels (1000-2000 sized). On larger reels, wind knots are lees of an issue, but my goodness, be prepared for some frustrating fishing on a small reel.

I can’t wait to get this on the water! I love Kastking products and so far it doesn’t disappoint. I tied multiple snaps onto the line and used both a palomar knot and a uniknot and both appear to be super strong. I also tried tying a FG knot to a fluorocarbon leader and it is also super strong! Once I get out on the water and catch some fish, I’ll add more details.
