The lowdown: I own a bunch of neck gaiters of varying quality, and this is the one I choose to wear most often. I'll buy another if I need to.The deets: I have long used make brand Buffs because they are great for backpacking, workouts, yardwork, whatever, but they are ridiculously priced. They are essentially just scraps of polyester, though they have different materials for different uses.The Kast King seems to be best suited for hot weather. It makes s good cooling towel, and is great for sun protection. It basically feels the same as my UPF50 rash guard (though I don't know the a UPF on this). The fabric is finer and smoother than my classic Buff.The one downside is that this is NOT a seamless design. There is a big fat seam running the length, and a hem on each end. I don't notice these very often and they haven't chaffed, but they might cause irritation for you or be a weak spot in the long term.

I own a couple UPF 50 shirts for fishing. My shirts have a hood but they do not have the mask built in. This was perfect and works great. Its thin and breathable so you do not fog up your sunglasses. You can wear it over your ears for full protection. It does not smell funny and it fits snug enough that it does not fall off your face. I looked at many masks on Amazon and I'm very happy I decided to purchase this one. If you are looking for a mask for similar use, you will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I use this on my motorcycle rides here in Sunny, hot, and humid Florida. I soak in cold tap water, and away I go. As the wind hits the material, instant cooling evaporative cooling, plus sun protection, = added comfort from sunburns when riding into the sun some mornings or evenings. It's the best money I spent on a product that works as advertised!

I like the quality and decent thickness thats protective but not too hot. Despite what they claim i would say any layers add heat. It defientely gets hot out there when i use a gaiter a hat and an N95 mask on a hot day but i would rather just get warm and sweat instead of get my neck cooked. I always joke about the "dog the bounty hunter tomato tan" the one I'm trying to avoid.

Used it to keep mosquitoes off my face while checking out a new property. It’s too thin to really keep mosquitoes from getting through but then enough for summertime.

I wear gaiters pretty much every day due to my job and have learned that All Gaiters Are NOT Created Equal! I had to return a six pack from a different seller (first time I’ve ever returned a six pack of anything), and was hunting around for a better product. I found this one and thought I would give it a shot.As soon as I took it out of the package I noticed how soft the material was. Also, the colors and print looked really sharp. I tried it on and was sold! Super comfortable. Super breathable. Really good fit. I will definitely be buying more.Highly recommend.
