I have a 2001 Ford F250 7.3L diesel crew cab. Fast delivery and the product arrived as it should in good shape. The cord fit perfect and the length is perfect as well, install was a breeze. The cord is heavy duty and works great. I noticed an immediate difference the next morning starting the truck when plugged up on cold nights, started flawlessly. Thank you!!

Hooked this up to my 2008 6.4L Power Stroke Ford F250. Plugs right in. I zip-tied it with a little slack behind the front bumper. This isn't a miracle worker and isn't going to heat up your engine in 10 minutes. It's going to take a while. For those of you that need this regularly, you'll probably want to hook it to a timer and have it warm up your engine at least an hour or so before you'll need the truck. This is for those really cold days if you're in a 6.4 (colder than 20°). This is cheaper and just as effective as the Ford one.

Used on a 1999 ford F250 Superduty 7.3..... This Cord is nice quality! I went to Ford and they are either stupid or just plain thieves, they waned $162.00 for the cord and $250.00 for the install, that's $412.00 plus tax. I paid less than $20.00 for the cord and installed it is less than 20 minutes and most of that was routing the cord to the front. The old cord is just clipped on and the new cord screwed on in its place, no special tool needed and didn't even have to jack the truck up. it's located on the drivers side of the block by the starter. Easy Peasy.I will say that this cord is just long enough to reach the front but it did come out right where the stock one came out so it all worked out good!Oh also I did not unwrap the protective cover surrounding the old cord and just used tie wraps to secure it to the outside of the old cord, I just didn't see the need.

6.4's come with the block heater from the factory but not with a cord unless it is ordered that way. This cord is long enough to be routed to a convenient spot behind the front bumper. It is a bugger to get plugged into the block heater unless you have tiny hands. This is a much cheaper alternative to a factory cord or having someone install one for you. I installed it near the end of the winter so I only used it three times for any length of time but it worked well and didn't have any problems.

Perfect fit on my 2006 Ford Super Duty; 6.0 liter. Bought truck in AL so obviously the previous owner never needed / used the block heater. Anyway, installed product while laying on snow covered ground in 10degF weather in OH. Took about 30 minutes to get everything routed and ty-rap'd out of the way. Only minor ding is it was slightly difficult to get the nut's thread started. Not enough to knock off a star though - probably just my frozen hands failing me. Do yourself a favor and order this long before you think you'll need it.On another note: the cord is well constructed for the price, but I ultimately ended up cutting off the end (yeah it's gonna corrode eventually) and put on the Marinco 150BBI Marine On-Board Charger Inlet (15-Amp, 125-Volt, Black). Do a quick search and just go ahead and order both at the same time. The Marinco makes for a really clean install with no worries of plug in failure due to exposure.
