Don't waste your time or money. I went through all the trouble and labor to install this block heater in the freeze plug if my 1987 F-250 with the 6.9 International Harvester Navistar engine. The darn thing didn't even last one week! I just got done checking the chord for continuity in 10 degree weather. The chord is fine the block heater has no continuity and is toast. I'm so mad right now I could bite nails! Had to totally drain the coolant and remove the starter to install. I am not an amateur mechanic. I will not be installing another ever! She will be now and forever an ether queen. Started so nice with the warmed block too. Everything is just cheap junk these days. Beware!
