Super easy to put together. All you have to do is click the pieces and the middle of it. There's a way that you can twist it from the middle, so then you don't have to change the way the paddles go on the end. Feels pretty good in your hands. My daughter is now using it to paddle her way around our kitchen. She is using the box it came in as her canoeWe needed a new paddle for our kayak & this works perfectly fine. I picked the silver one just because I picked the silver one. I know they have other colors but this one seemed fine. And the color match our kayaks.It seems pretty durable. I do worry about rusting where it connects but hopefully it's not going to be an issue. I just want to be able to break it down when we get from the kayak to the car and it will break down into two pieces if not four. I just hope that the water doesn't get into where the clickers are so it doesn't rust and cause an issue with breaking it down.Other than that, it's affordable and will probably work really well on the river.

Cheap, well made folds down well. I took this with me to the balkans in my checked bag it got beat to hell but didn't lose form. Worked well on the water not alot of movement from a 4 piece paddle. Worked better than my 300$ carbon 4 piece.

I was concerned that this paddle might not be strong enough because it comes in 4 pieces. However, the pieces fit together perfectly, and the paddle is very secure and easier to transport than any other paddle we've ever had. Love it!

Do not buy these! They did not put the required flotation in the paddles, the first time they were used by my grandchildren they sank to the bottom of the lake. I've been using oars and paddles of various types for 70+ years, never have I encountered a paddle that did not float. These are defective and should not be sold. What's worse the company agrees, this is their response to me when I wrote them about the paddles:"We will refund you back the sunk paddle's money, this is our product/s Design Disadvantages, Very sorry for what you experiences with our kayak paddle, please reply us when you see the message. Best regards."But, after promising a refund they failed to send it!

First off, I have to be fair and say that, when in the water, I love the paddle. It works great.It also folds up mice and small allowing me to back inside my SUP bag.The really annoying part though is that the clips started to just after the very first use. I am really careful about all my kit and make sure everything is washed down with clean fresh water after use (and dried out), but the clips were badly corroded.I will probably buy new clips and replace this, but this is just a faff. I would happily have paid another pound or two to have better clips in the first place.

I purchased a 3 piece that would not be compact enough, but this 4 piece appears to do the trick. I just wish the 4 pieces were of equal parts to get the paddle down smaller. The poles sections are the longer issue separating in the middle, where as the paddles separate at each end. The clamping mechanism is also not desired as I fear the clamp will either snap one day and or the parts will go flying off into the water.
