Excellent comfortable grip for hiking stick (Trail Pilot Fir wood?) purchase from Amazon. Used instructions for kayak paddle installation. Stick has diameter of about 1 1/8th inch. Stick had an uncomfortable parachute cord wound handle.

LIKES: soft feel, easy to put on, nice color options. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: upgraded my kayak paddles this year with these grips. RECOMMENDATION: Yes. Wonderful upgrade to the paddling experience. They are soft and it is easy to grip. They can be moved if you need to readjust.

These grips are incredibly comfortable, even for smaller hands. They feel soft and make a noticeable difference during long paddling sessions. Once they're in place, they don't budge at all. I'm enjoying not dealing with hot aluminum paddles shafts. It was encouraging to read reviews that said how easy they are to install (one of the reasons I choose these). I found them a bite of a challenge to slide on even when soaking wet. It took some persistence, then, like magic, they slid right on. I can't help but think that if/when I need to remove them, I might just end up cutting them off. Once installed, the grips are in the perfect spot & remain securely in place with is great. Would be nice if these grips had the ability to float. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these for anyone looking to protect their hands with a comfortable grip.

Hello there, nice to meet you! ;o)My hubby and I are about to start a great adventure in a few days, trying out our newest kayak built for two! I always try to be prepared, as my hubby is a newbie, and I've kayaked for a long time. One of the most important items to have is great grips for our kayak paddles... natch!After all, who wants blisters that can really ruin a fun experience? ;o)So I went on the hunt for some good quality grips on Amazon, and discovered the VITEAM Kayak Paddle Grips and ordered them on the spot. Best. Decision. Ever!These grips have a nice depth of silicone, and very well made. The installation was interesting for me, as you WET the grips first-- prior to installation, and the best part? They stay put where you place them on the kayak paddle. And...gotta say this again: they really do stay put! Not only that, they feel very good when in motion, when I tested them out.I have large hands, and do experience some stiffness in my fingers. The cushioning felt wonderful and the grips accommodated my large hands easily. In other words, these grips are EXACTLY what I was looking for! I can't find anything negative to stay about them!I'm off to purchase more of these grips in a few minutes, as hubby needs his own set, and I have several kayak paddles to cover in my collection. (I'll share a little secret... I'm buying more of these VITEAM grips for my gardening tools to give my poor hands a break whilst gardening too! They fit beautifully. The last time we went kayaking before getting these I got a blister on my hands in just a few hours. These are fantastic. No more blisters since putting these on.

1) These are a nightmare to get on.2) Look at the weight! I didn’t think these would be so heavy. Ounces are extremely important for a paddle. These are almost 5 oz!!!! I’d rather have blisters on my hands than a paddle that weighs 5 more ounces.Had to cut them off to get them off but they’re doing better in the trash than on my paddle.

These grips were easy to install on my paddles. They provide grip and padding without being bulky or adding weight. I'm very happy with them.

I have aways had trouble keeping a good grip on my kayak paddle, so I got these VITEAM Kayak Paddle Grips and I love them!!! They are a thick rubber grip that you slide onto the handle area of the paddle. They do need a bit of work to get them in place, but once there it's worth the effort. It took me just a couple of minutes for each one...it helped to get them wet so they slide a little easier. The first time I used them in the water I was in love. They provide just enough extra grip that my hands didn't slip on the wet metal bar, and it's much easier to control. My husband laughed when he first saw that I had put them on my paddle, then after he tried them he had asked me to get him a set also!! :) Overall, these are really good quality and a great value for the price. I highly recommend them!
