1. This couldn't be easier to install and very nice to clip my paddle into if I have to do it quickly while fishing. 2. The paddle holder takes up very little real estate on the track and can be positioned at the angle that works best for you. 3. Previously, I was using the elastic strap on the side of my kayak to secure the paddle. Reaching for the paddle created a situation whereby my kayak would tip dangerously to one side. However, with this holder, I am able to secure my paddle closer to my seat and, thus, eliminate the unnecessary leaning. Installation was a breeze, and the holder fit securely. 4. Get's the paddle securely out of the way while keeping the gear track clear for my other accessories.

Seems durable. I like that it's two pieces, I can set the spacing. If I use both, then the paddle is secured parallel to the hull. If I want to angle the paddle to use the bungie quick park on the bow, I only need one. Can position at any angle in the track. Finally, when mounted, keeps my paddle low profile and out of the way but ready/handy to grab.Great product, fair price. Highly recommended.

These holders work with my kayak they slide into the little built-in part in my kayak so they are for certain kayaks but they hold my paddle really good when I’m trying to fish and it’s out of my way and I don’t worry about a falling into the water.

These are great for holding my paddle. I opted to place them both on the same side so the paddle runs parallel with my kayak.My favorite feature is that I don't lose the use of the rest of the space on my gear track when my paddle is in the holder, as the mounts are offset.My least favorite thing about these is that the knob for tightening them down is small, and difficult to get leverage on. These leads to them loosening on their own during normal use. It isn't a debilitating issue, but it is a bit annoying to have to retighten them all the time.A potential solution would be to put a drop of threadlocker on them, but I don't want to run the risk of not being able to remove them either.At any rate. I do recommend these for anyone wanting a stable paddle holder without losing your entire gear track to give these a try.

It tightens down pretty good but you can't use them very well on the same side of the kayak. When it's hanging over the kayak and trying to put the paddle into it, it is difficult and little concerning on if it's going to come off the kayak rails.

Keeps my paddle secure and out of the way as I fish.Does a great job, very happy with them so far, no complaints.Make sure to get a pair as one would not be very useful !
