The first time I used the kayak skirt was in anticipation of heavy rain due to a fast moving storm ... and the skirt worked great! While my top half was pummelled by rain and high winds, my lower half remained dry! I was exposed to these harsh conditions for at least 30 minutes and the skirt did what it was supposed to do ... kept my cockpit dry!
