I have bought many lava ledges for my rats and I highly recommend them for all rat owners. These are great for chewing and keeping their nails filed down. My rats enjoy sitting on them while they eat their snack. The color is always a surprise! I have received blue, yellow and purple so far. Amazon is the only place I will purchase this product as you can't find a better price anywhere else.

I use these as extra steps and stairs for my rats, along with chews. They make it possible to design my cage to be old lady accessible and they even like sleeping on the ledges when I put two side by side. Highly recommend for any mammal cage as they are JUST LIMESTONE and coloring. Also package looks exactly like picture above. Easy to clean too with dishsoap and a toothbrush or scrubber.

However, because chins like to gnaw so much, these ledges don't last very long. They will have them ground down within a week to ten days. They are also super messy so be prepared to clean up the aftermath every day. They're at a great price point so I'll keep buying them since the boys like them so much. If you'll looking for something that won't break the bank that will help stimulate your chins and help with their teeth, I'd recommend the ledges. Just make sure the food dye doesn't mess with your chin's tummy.

She absolutely loves them and demolishes them in a day as this pumice is her favorite! They are very long lasting for anyone who doesn’t have a massive pumice chewer. We’ve had these with our rats as well as our Degus and they lasted very long so very well worth the money you spend!

This setup naturally helps keep their nails short, which is a big plus.I received a yellow one, but I love that the color is a surprise—it keeps things fun. The ledge is sturdy, easy to attach to the wire cage, and serves its purpose perfectly. My rats seem to enjoy using it too!Highly recommend this product for small pet owners. Practical and effective!
