Keep it on the tank to protect it from anything hitting it whennim not using it. Have had no issues with it yet.

It’s kinda universal shaped but fits my Harley tank ok I guess.

I purchased this to serve as a tank protector and additional storage.When it arrived i quickly "installed" the product, insuring each magnet was securely attached to the tank and the bib section was secured under the seat thankfully. When i took it for a quick ride to see how it would handle i was completely shocked, disappointed, and enraged. The cover did not last 4 blocked or even to 30 MPH. When it flew off it almost caused me to wreck as it flew straight at my face. So as a word of warning to others looking at this product, either find additional STRONG magnets, or attach some string or rope to secure the cover to your tank. The product looked at described, and did not seem to be too cheaply made for its price, just a hazard while riding.
