Great looking clock, I love the feature that turns off the cuckoo when it’s dark at night. It actually has an echoing cuckoo which is cute. We had a mechanical cuckoo which was a pain pulling up the weights once a day. This battery quartz clock is much more accurate than a mechanical clock as well. A great cuckoo at a great price.

The "Cuckoo" is recorded and when it sounds off it sounds a little like its underwater. That and it double cuckoos for each hour which is a little confusing. the first cuckoo is a little louder than the second but you get used to it. The clockitself is beautiful though and well worth the money

Clock was ok for almost 2 years then it stopped working we changed batteries and did troubleshooting but no help
