I absolutely love this clock. The only things I would change about it is to take out the cuckoo echo. Just a single Cuckoo would be perfect. I really love the way it silences itself at night. Be advised though, the room has to be dark because if there’s some light shining through at all, it will continue to cuckoo every hour.A couple things that would make it even better: make the numbers and hands of the clock in an actual pale wood versus white plastic, and the same goes for the cuckoo bird itself. Other than those little tweaks, I really love this clock and I’m going to leave it at five stars because I think overall it’s a fantastic purchase.

Very nice clock for the price. Wood finish is attractive. Easy to assemble. Setting the number of coo-coos to the hour was quite easy - simply count and push the button the correct number of counts to match the hour. Running for a couple of days now and the clock keeps accurate time. The night time sensor silences the coo-coo as stated. All and all a good buy

We had a cuckoo clock when I was growing up so when I saw this I had to get it for nostalgic reasons. Brings me back to my childhood. Keeps accurate time. Doesn't cuckoo until about 7am so it is not disturbing during the night. It took a little bit to get the time set initially because we were not accounting for the "echo" chimes. Couldn't understand how it could be 20 o'clock. lol Once we figured it out, it is simple to set. Everyone that comes over to the house loves it.

Clock is beautiful and looks like the "real thing" from Germany. I would give it 5 stars especially for the price.. but only two little items why I didn't.1. The sound of the cuckoo is kind of weird, it doesn't really cuckoo and the sound of an electronic stream doesn't help.2. The lower volume switch almost makes no discernible difference in volume. This still terrifies my cat haha.But still a nice looking clock that keeps accurate time and good price

Worked for about one hour.It looks nice, but the quality is not there. I didn’t expect top of the line for the price…but for the price, I did expect it to work for at least a little bit longerCan’t return as I had to destroy the box to get it open and they want it in the original packagingVery disappointed

It's ok. I would rather the bird just say Cuckoo once for each hour. This one sounds like water in the background and the bird chirps twice for each one hour. And it is not set on daylight savings time. It chirps 1 more hour than it is. For example, when it is 1pm, it chirps 2 times instead of 1 for 1pm. Actually, it chirps 4 times, as it chirps twice for each hour. Had I known that, I would have gotten a different clock.

I chose this clock from among other cuckoo clocks at Amazon because I liked the echo feature. It is attractive and well made. Looks good on the wall of our small living room, and so is an ideal size. Some time ago we had a cuckoo clock that sounded every quarter hour, and it was almost too much "noise". This one just sounds on the hour, can be adjusted to high or low sound, and does not chime in the dark, so you are not bothered at night (and don't have to remember to turn it off). There were a few things to be done to set up the clock, and they should be fairly simple. However, when we got stuck on one part of the instructions and let the company know our problem, they replied quickly and gave us excellent solutions. I recommend both the company and the product.

Nice looking clock, but the plastic hands are kind of disappointing. Pendulum isn't swinging, need to look into this.
