The telescoping rod adjusts from 28 inches to 48 inches to fit your window and projects 2.75 inches from the wall. It is ideal for hanging curtains with pockets, grommets, back tabs, and tab tops, but can also be used with clip rings. Very pretty and just what I needed! My curtains are a bit heavy, yet I have not had any problems with the rod breaking or falling out under. I still don't recommend it for serious durability or really large windows, however; it is clear when handled that it's hollow and weaker. For the price and place I used it, however, this was no problem.

These rods were perfect for our master bedroom. Beautiful. Like some reviewers have stated, they are not heavy duty by any means, but they really are beautiful. When installing, just don't prep too much when screwing in. I ended up using different screws that were more form. We put some fairly heavy curtains on them - but with the extra support from a different (longer) screw than the ones provided, it's fine. I like that the ends are not metal because it makes it easier on the assembly. It *looks* metal - and that's all I need.

Looks cute but this is very cheap! The heart ends are plastic n the one on mine falls out easily.. and these pictures show the lack of care put into the work.. sloppy job

The pretty plastic finials don't push into the end of the rod snuggly.They fall out unless you use an adhesive to keep them in place.
