I kick myself for not remembering my high school science. I bought this for an aluminum door in one of my outbuildings. Magnets don't stick to aluminum. Other than that it's a great little curtain rod. I didn't send it back because it was such a cheap item.

I needed a rod for a metal door. My curtain is a light material so this rod is just about right and stays put even when opening and closing the door.

I bought this to hang curtains over the window on my back door. It looks nice and I really like it, but am giving it 4 stars because it sometimes falls down when I accidentally tug too hard trying to open/close the curtains. It needs stronger magnets, or I just need to be more careful! lol

These things are THE WORST! They do extend to be longer, but they have no stopping point, so if pulled out too far, they break apart. Now Imagine you have two of these, one at the top of your door, one at the bottom, (and remember these are just magnets they are not screwed into your metal door) 1 year old child comes up to door, tugs on the curtain just a little bit while trying to peek out through the windows on the door, and BAM! The WHOLE THING COMES CRASHING DOWN!! RIGHT ON YOUR BABY HEAD! Yes these are THAT TERRIBLE! When the magnets move a little bit the whole thing falls down, it's the middle where there is nothing to stop them from coming apart and they get stretched out and break apart. Not to mention, the ends which are removable so you can put the curtain on the rod, those thing dont stay on either once you 1st take them off! My fiance is a very strong guy, and he had to push those crappy things back on with all his might just to have them on the rod A LITTLE securely! I say, unless you have super glue to glue the rod in the middle and to glue the ends back on after you put the curtains up, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

The packaging came damaged and covered in dirt but the product was fine. I purchased this to be able to put a curtain on my back door. The magnets are strong. The biggest issue I have is someone tape a box cutter with the blade completely open to the packaging. If I wouldn't have noticed it I could have been seriously cut!!! Seriously, what the hell!!! but thank you for the free box cutter.

I had to flip my magnets to attach to top of window ..I think there was metal in the window frame because my window itself was plasticIt worked PERFECTLY...Love the easy instal .....very very good product well made!!!

Flimsy! I opened it and it was half broken. The magnets on the back fell off so I had to super glue them back on. The inside bar is half unwound so there is a rough side of metal sticking out.

No me gustó xq para empezar en la publicación no esta bien especificada la medida...entiendo q es en pulgadas pero te confundes ...regrese el producto porque no me pareció buena calidad se siente frágil..me hicieron mi reembolso sin ningún problema
