Got this to secure two identical Dell laptops which require the N17 head. Kensington directly assured me , via chat, that the dual head model would work. But it has different locking pieces on each of the heads. One is the N17, the other an older, larger style.You can see this in the pictures, which is why I consulted w/ Kensington. They told me that both heads were N17. Not true. The pictures are correct; one is N17, the other is not. So be careful to buy the right item.Sending back.

This product is generally a good one. It locks as you would expect it to. However, one key point: The two ends of this are one T-Bar (Non-Dell) and one wedge (Dell) connector. Make sure this works for you as well. Also of note, the key and lock is pretty small which can be either a good or bad thing as I imagine it would be easy to lose the key.

Dass das Schloß nur gegen das Mal-eben-Wegtragen hilft, ist natürlich klar.Gegen Gewalt ist das nicht ausreichend.Das Schloß ist nicht gerade vertrauenerweckend, was die Langlebigkeit anbelangt.Kleiner Schlüssel, bei dem man schon fummeln muß, bis er richtig einrastet.Die waren früher robuster ausgelegt und hatten oft noch einen Schutzring aus Gummi zum Verhindern von Kratzern.

Ayant découvert que mon laptop Latitude 7400 2-in-1 n'était compatible avec aucun des câbles dont je disposais, j'ai découvert l'existence du 2ème "standard" dit "Noble" ou "Wedge". Ce câble dispose de deux attaches : une à ce "nouveau standard" pour le laptop et une autre à "l'ancien standard Kensington" pour la station d'accueil (qui elle possède les deux types d'encoches).

Please note, despite being advertised as "for Dell devices", only one of the dual locks on this cable actually fits the micro security slot on most Dell devices. So, if you were hoping to secure two XPS13 / Latitude / XPS15 with this, forget it. The 2nd lock has the same key, but is just a regular Kempston lock. I think this is pretty bad given the price, and the fact that this item is specifically advertised as "for Dell Devices" (note the plural).
