Easy to put together & works perfect for anyone looking for an in home workout without the gym hassle. I also love the rep counter, it allows you to do reps without counting because it keeps track for you!

5 out of 5 for assembly:Assembly took less than 2 minutes. It would have been quicker but I wasn't sure which direction to install the pads or what to do with the velcro straps. FYI - Match the shape of the pads to the shape of the counter unit. Narrow end of the pads point in the same direction as the narrow end of the counter. The straps have to be threaded through slits on each pads. The unit cannot be used without them.5 out of 5 for ease of use:Once assembled, just fasten the straps around your thighs and squeeze. The counter starts automatically and you push a button to reset it. Very intuitive. I LOVE that I can use these while sitting at my desk working (from home).3 out of 5 for comfort. The narrower side of the pads, which point toward your body, dig in somewhat as you expand. The velcro leg straps can also be irritating if they are on bare skin. No irritation when used over shorts/pants. I also find myself have to adjust the unit periodically because it slowly migrates while using it.4 out of 5 effectiveness:I expected to only feel this on my inner thighs, but I also feel it in my outer thighs and hips. You can add a resistance band around your knees to increase the burn.

When I saw this, I had flashbacks to those old 70s thigh master commercials. I decided to try it because the thigh machine at the gym is often busy and why not?I didn't have high expectations so was pleasantly surprised when I could set it for a high tension and get a workout. It's great for exercising while watching TV or talking on the phone.Cons:The thigh pads are a little bit uncomfortable, better padding would be nice. The counter isn't very accurate. The instructions are inadequate and confusing.

This is very easy to assemble and use but mastering takes practice. My box included two booklets. One small one with simple instructions that worked just fine for me and the other larger one that has several pictures of assembly and use which looked more intimidating than reality. It's also very easy to disassemble to pack tightly for storage which makes me more likely to use it as I know it takes only a few seconds set up and put away. I have found that I will procrastinate or avoid using some of my workout equipment because of the time they take to store or put together for use and this definitely isn't one of them. My only complaint about this is that I am not a huge fan of the pads or the straps on this. They aren't comfortable for me and I am certain that I would use this for a longer duration if they were. I sometimes pad them with folded microfiber cloths but honestly, I don't think it would work as well (and certainly wouldn't compact as nicely) if there were more padding so it's a trade-off. As it is, it literally fits well in a desk drawer so it's handy when I am stuck at the desk for awhile. I don't know how accurate the pressure gauge is and didn't factor that into my rating because that really doesn't matter to me. I can tell when I tighten it that there is more resistance and that is really all that matters to me. On days I am less motivated, I can also loosen it just as easily and remove my “excuses†for not feeling to do it that day. Overall, I really like this and highly recommend it.

This thigh exerciser is very easy to use. Resistance level adjusts easily. Sturdy and I also like that it is small and does not take up much space.
