Love this because it’s so lightweight but still nicely balanced unlike the bugout. Different purpose I know but worth mentioning. I wanted just a small, slicy, all manual little pocket knife for those pesky letters and boxes. The US made/construction is what drew me to this knife. I’ve seen a handful of other Kershaws but this one is noticeably different. The magnacut steel, bearings, and Cerakote scales give this knife a premium look and feel. I love the way this action is. I love that it’s really thin. I love the deep pocket carry clip. All of the knives I have are thoroughly researched for quality and purpose and this one fits in to my collection quite nicely. Probably the smoothest ots flipper I have :)

This is my favorite knife, hands down. Razor-sharp, perfect size and weight, opens and closes quickly and with no effort; this all-black version is pure understated elegance. It’s the perfect EDC knife. I use it for opening Amazon boxes, packaging , letters and envelopes, and other odds and ends. It’s a beautifully engineered and American-made tool. Highly recommended.

Purchased this knife and one ned foss knife recently. I wanted to keep both but after comparing the two knives, I had to return the other one as the quality of this one far exceeds the other. I bought two because this one is a little more pricey but now I can see why. The quality is definitely worth the money. The handle feels good in hand, has a nice grip. The clip is very strong. Most importantly, the magnacut steel blade is sharp and strong. Action is buttery smooth. Very nice knife, highly recommend.

Kershaw went above and beyond with this one. It comes in cheaper than any Benchmade, but it comes with the new hot Magnacut Steel! It's supposed to have incredible corrosion resistance and toughness, with very respectable edge retention. It's too new of a product to really know how the edge holds up long term, but it sharpened nicely.Comes with Ballbearing and is a pleasure to fidget with. The metal scales are very comfortable with A beautiful coating, as most things Kershaw are. Strong low profile pocket clip, it's everything you need from a slicing pocket EDC.

Kershaw truly hit a home run with this knife. I usually don't like Kershaw's style, a little too over-designed looking for my tastes, though I have always thought of them as a decent if not slightly budget-level knife company. This Bel Air has changed my mind.Right out of the box, this thing flips open by the thumb stud sooooo smoothly. They really nailed the angles and articulation for this sucker. I much prefer flipper knives but this is the first...literally the first...thumb stud knife that I have really enjoyed (having owned about a billion or so). It is soooo snappy. The crossbar/axis/whatever their lock is called catches it securely but the spring tension is just right for closing the knife. The blade is a no nonsense, thin MAGNACUT (holy crap, at this price? Insane) blade that slices beautifully. To top it all off, it is a very lightweight knife and has a great, deep-carry pocket clip. The Bugout (which I've liked but not loved) is now in the back of the drawer. This BelAir (ok maybe the name could have been something cooler, maybe the 'Wolf-fang Stabber of Victory' or something--that's copyrighted by the way don't steal it). Otherwise this is an awesome knife, frankly, in my world, better than the more expensive Bugout.

The construction of the knife is immaculate. The blade was perfectly centered, came sharper out of the box than any other knife I have bought. The aluminum scales feel very high quality. I love the color of the scales and deep bronze finish on the barrel spacers and Duralock stud. The Duralock mechanism allows for seamless one-handed operation. The blade is thin, but made of Magnacut steel, so it is extremely slicey and strong, as well as corrosion- and wear-resistant. No need to worry about the blade chipping due to the Magnacut.I can’t recommend this knife enough. I love it so much, and it is such a great price for the quality you receive, that I actually went back and ordered a second one just because! I am a knife collector and this is the first time I have bought two of the same knife. It is that good.Do yourself a favor and purchase one!

Just received the all black model. Unfortunately the crossbar lock has tons of play and jams every time after blade deployment. Disappointing to say the least. Will be returning and reordering.
