I wanted to try these for skiing and took them on my last ski trip. I did not like them at all. The material is very thin and would be good for warmer skiing but it was about 15 degrees Fahrenheit on the top of the mountain and these did not do a good job keeping my face warm. The worst part was that the condensation from your breath sticks to the material and then was freezing to my face. I would not recommend for really cold weather under freezing. I prefer the thicker wool material to keep me warm.

Lightweight balaclava for cold weather face protection. Fits like underarmour and doesn't have any weird smell to it right out of the package. It has a good stretch to it so can fit various size heads and faces. My 7 year old daughter can wear it or my adult size sister can wear it with comfort. Has a good collar to fit into the shirt neck and keep it in place. You can still feel some cold with it on, but it takes sting out of the wind and once you wear it for a while the body heat dissipates the cold against the outside and keeps your head and face comfy under other layers.

My son was hoping it would fit but it's too big him. He wears a size 7 clothes.
