It did what it was supposed to do .Had to get somebody to program the fobs and cut the keys. No fuss no muss no cuss in accomplishing this. The fobs work the way how they are supposed to.

The issue was was not with the fob. I called around to different locksmiths in my area. $60 was the lowest price to reprogram but the locksmith could not do it when I drove to the business, either his computer tool was outdated or he did not know how to do this. One locksmith said Amazon fobs would not work and would damage my working fob and I needed to pay him $350 for a single fob, I told him about reviews on Amazon and many were happy, he said Amazon fobs would not work. I found one guy who charged me $100 to reprogram my 2 Amazon fobs and my existing fob still works, he removed the metal keys out of the fob meant for the door and cut them. The two dealers I called never called me back both said they were short staffed. Advise.. shop around. About the fobs themselves.. They feel the same and work the same as the factory. I am very happy with it. Longevity? Who knows but they are backups and will get little use (except for the first 30 days to make sure there are no problems) I ranked easy to install as low because you cannot install them yourself and the all day even driving and calling around town to find a locksmith was not easy. Other than that everything is good and I would recommend them.

I have all the equipment necessary to program these to my truck. But, there is ZERO information to help you. Not even a simple card telling you how to put the fob into program mode. Customer service is absolutely awful.

I bought these replica 2015 RAM 1500 keys thinking they were similar to my OM ones, they are on the outside, not the inside. Mine are beat up, so I was hoping to buy these and switch my chip over, wrong idea. The inside of these replicas will not fit my original chip, I’d have to have these replicas coded for my truck, to use them. This process is an additional $150, so buyer beware. Don’t think these are hollow and will fit your current chip, you’ll have to utilize these and hope they work for you truck, once coded.Update: These in fact worked with my trucks coding and work as advertised.

**This model for 2018 DODGE RAM 1500 truck MUST be programmed by a trained locksmith. **Information on Seller's website was concise and helpful.Units are well made, inside & out. Locksmith was able to program both units in less than 15 minutes. Replacement key fobs were tested and worked as well as factory made original keys.

I was able to easily program these to a 2018 Ram 2500 using AlphaOBD. Took about 30 seconds total.What i see using them is that they like to stick in the start position and not spring back to run automatically. If you help it along it will return to the run position.Seeing the reviews that these don't last makes me wary. Luckily I only got them as backups and just in case.

No directions to sync/pair with your vehicle! Still have to go to dealer or other automotive professional at significant expense!
