From the time I opened the package to the time it was programmed was maybe 5 minutes, make sure to program all keyfobs at the same time because of limited uses. But was very simple. Get inside the vehicle, turn key to the on position with out starting vehicle, plug the programmer into the obd2 port, you will get a prompt on your display, press and hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time until you hear a beep, then do the same for the other keyfob until you hear the beep. Turn vehicle off and remove programmer and cycle the buttons on each fob. The process is too easy and no need to pay a lock Smith or a dealership big bucks when you can simply do it yourself

I bought this as a gift for my father-in-law because he'd broken both of the factory fobs for his 2015 Chevy Colorado.Per the instructions, I got in and closed the door, turned the key to the run position, and plugged the programming module into the OBD2 port. In a few seconds, I got the "key learning mode" message in the driver's info center on the instrument cluster, then I held the lock and unlock buttons on the new fob until I got a confirmation beep. I turned the key off, removed the module, and it was ready to go! Literally less that one minute start-to-finish. The new fob works great and feels well built. Much cheaper and more convenient than paying a dealer!

I have a base work truck that only had power door locks and this programmer and fob worked beautifully! It was super easy!

Would never work to program the included key fob. Pretty much impossible to do incorrectly so obviously faulty.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this item and the ease of installation. I purchased two for the same vehicle annd installation was a breeze. Very pleased with this item.
