Best purchase ever!!!Cheap, effective and SUPER easy to program!I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Bought it with just a single FOB and about 6 months ago the FOB stopped unlocking. Not an issue as I could still use the key in the driver side door. Until about 3 weeks ago, and my outside driver door handle broke off the lock rod, days before a polar vortex and subzero temps. I was always scared of replacing the FOB as every forum told me that a dealership would have to program them.I bought two of the black direct replacements, they look and function exactly like the factory ones. They came with a card that had a QR that linked to instructions for programming. The programming is super easy, took me 5 minutes and I now have 2 FOBs that work like new!!!Highly recommend!!!

UPDATE:OK After a 2 days using the fobs, they are reverting to again NOT opening the passenger dooronly the drivers just as they did that took 3 program cycles to fixI will be contacting the MFG to see what they want to do ABOUT ITORIGINAL:AND WILL UPDATE AS NEEDEDlowered to 4 stars as Instructions are absolute CRAP and-I had to program them 3 times before they would work on passenger door on 2nd clicknow work as they shouldProgram instructions (for a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 5.3V8) .....sit in the truck and hold "UNLOCK" button on drivers door switchDON'T LET GO OF UNLOCK SWITCH YET-insert key and turn ignition on then off (turn on -BUT NOT STARTING THE TRUCK)turn key off, then repeat (you should notice truck automatically lock and unlock the doorsNow you can let go of the door unlock button (leave key in ignition in off position for later use)Now - take (all the key fobs you want to work - new ones and any old ones you want to use)-and on each one separately - hold both the Lock & Unlock buttons at the same timeuntil you notice the truck lock & unlock doors then let go of the buttons*it can take up to 30 seconds for it to workdo this separately for each key fob (give it a count of 5 in between each fobwhen done with all the fobs -turn initiation key on and off again (like in the beginning but only once) and it will setNow - try each fob separately to make sureDrivers Door Locks,Passenger Door(s) Lock,And it Unlocks as it should,if so, Your good to go, If NOT then start over and do it againIt took me 3 Times doing it for both the new fobs to unlock the passenger door
