Good quality and appearance. They were easy to install and have held up well.

These were great replacements to ones I currently had that had been painted over too many times. They fit the exact spacing so I didn’t have to drill any new holes. They looks great and made the handrail sturdy.

So far very pleased. Bought 3 boxes, replacing old rail brackets that were corroded or broken. These feel strong and look very nice. Will buy more

Just finished installing these (black). Measure twice, drill once :). They worked fine, but the screws were wimpy. I guess the #6 x 1" ones that attach the saddles to the rail are ok (they don't get that much stress), but the ones that go into the wall--a stud!--are #6 x 1 1/2" screws. I'd rather have #8 screws. And I stripped the heads on a couple Granted, I probably drilled the pilot holes too small--I should have gone with a 1/8" drill bit for the studs (which are presumably soft wood, pine or something). I did use a 9/64" drill bit for the rail, since that is hardwood.BTW, the perpendicular distance from the wall to the center of the place on the bracket where the saddle connects, is 2 3/8" (see photo). The seller doesn't provide that dimension, which I think is the most important one, as it determines the size of the return (the small piece of rail at each end of the long rail that prevents you from accidently hooking yourself on the end of the rail).

Quality made for a very good price. Did the job for me. I did use 1 longer screw when installing these as I was a little concerned about the length of the screws. Holds very well and looks great.

I upgraded them in my +125 years old real estate and replaced to modern black matte from really old rail supporter.

Excellent hardware but don't use the screws. Many other people who have rated this product have mentioned the poor screws for a reason. They are weak, soft, and COULD even break while attached to the wall and cause injury. As i stated, the actual rail hardware is well made and would have gotten 5 starts if it hadn't come with these screws. Just buy some other screws or bolts to hold it up.

If your attaching a handrail to 2x4 studs, this makes a robust attachment. Center the lower screw hole onto the wall where the stud lies, level the brace and install the additional screws. Easy install.
