It took my husband about an hour to assemble with no issues. It is very sturdy and stable. The cabinets and drawer are deceptively large. I was able to fit all of my daughters various supplies for homework with zero problem and even room for extra arts and craft stuff. It's so nice to be able to keep the surface neat and tidy when people come over. My daughter is pretty petite. Would not work well for an older student.

This desk is really nice! I bought it for my 17" laptop and it's the perfect size with plenty of room to spare. I love the bonus desktop cubbies which come in very handy to help keep the desktop neat and organized. But the two side drawers don't actually slide open. The drawer fronts are actually doors that swing open and you simply store things inside but I'm perfectly fine with that. What's the difference? It took me approx. 1.5 hrs to assemble but I didn't assemble the chair. This desk is for me, a 5 ft. 2 in. adult and where this is a student set the chair was too small and low for me so I'm using a padded folding chair. Also the desk itself is lower than regular height desks too so I purchased 5" risers, put them under each leg and voila! a regular height desk at a fraction of the cost! It's very sturdy and a good buy for the money. I highly recommend this!

I buy this for my son, the size it's perfect but I wonder if it's going to last because it's very cheap made. Be careful during assembly time because some parts are easy to break.

With school being distance learning for the time being, I needed a desk for my 8 year old. This desk is perfect for what we need it for. There is plenty of storage for books and a place to store the chrome book. The assembly was pretty easy. All you need are a few screwdrivers but all other pieces come clearly labeled. The screws that are on the outside are coated brown to blend into the finish. The chair could be a little more sturdy for my 8 yr old but would be perfect for smaller kids. None of the pieces came broken or had gaps as I was putting together. The only downside is that fingerprints & smudges are easily seen. For it being a kids desk, I am very pleased!!

The main drawer falls out every time you pull it out! Been trying to figure out a way to fix it but no luck. The problem is the front leg is sort off on its own and not reinforced well. Cheaply made desk for the price, I have had better put together desks for cheaper and much bigger!

Update: after the first few weeks, this desk became pretty useless. My son was only using it for doing homework but I have lost count of how many times this thing has fallen apart. The drawer keeps falling. The doors for the two little cabinets keep coming off. I wish it had lasted longer that a few weeks, for the money I paid for this. I would not purchase again.I have put together a lot of furniture in my life, and this was by far, the easiest one. I usually dread putting together anything that goes in my kids’ rooms because kids furniture, at least in my experience has always been terrible to put together. Holes are not drilled correctly, parts are not labeled clearly, instructions are a mess. Not this time though!All instructions were incredibly clear. All parts were clearly labeled and aligned perfectly. I mean, I can’t recommend this company enough.The desk itself is also really well made, and my second grader loves it!

This desk is perfect for my 5 year old starting kindergarten (distance learning.) The desk arrived a week earlier than I expected and it took my husband about an hour to assemble--there are only pictures, no words so that's a little annoying but manageable. Yes, this desk is small. But perfect for my taller 5 year old. I figured for the price if it didn't work out it wouldn't be a huge loss so took the chance and I'm glad I ordered it! I found this desk when searching for desks for 5-12 year olds. No way it would work for my 9 year old (he would be hunched over) but for a 5 year old, it's great. My son was so excited to help his dad assemble it and get organized for school. I'll probably get 2+ years out of it before he's too tall, but that works for us.

First of all they sent me the color white when I ordered brown!!! Secondly this desk is not sturdy at all! The cabinet doors come off easily there were a thousand pieces and so difficult to put together .. the only good thing I have to say is the size of the desk is perfect for a 4 year old! The height of the desk is perfect and so is the chair

It’s too small for kids ages above seven it’s good only for toddlers it’s good quality but the size it’s not beyond for the parents expectation when your kids ages seven and above too little

The drawer is way too small to fit into the track, by a good quarter of an inch. You can get the drawer to just hang on there, but once you try to open it again it just falls out. Think I’ll be returning this one!
