could not clamp the handle bars to my bike bars and fit the grips on them. the bars are too narrow to clap around the stem and fit the grips. it might work on a bike without replaceable bars. quality seemed okay but I was unable to use it

I recently purchased the Auwey Kids Bike Seat for my toddler, and I couldn't be happier with the choice! This front-mounted bike seat is perfect for children aged 2 to 5 years and accommodates up to 48 lbs, making it an ideal option for young kids. One of the standout features is the safety harness, which gives me peace of mind while riding. I can focus on navigating the bike without worrying about any sudden movements from my little one. The seat feels very secure, and my child seems comfortable and safe.Installation was a breeze! The bike seat was easy to set up and remove, requiring no tools at all. It's designed to fit a variety of mountain bikes, including those with flat or sloping top tubes. I like that it’s compatible with a range of bike types, although it’s not recommended for e-bikes or older models with cables on the top tube.Riding together has been a wonderful time. It allows us to share my passion for mountain biking and the outdoors. The design is comfortable and close-fitting, so it doesn’t interfere with my riding style or my child’s enjoyment. I’ve taken it on family biking adventures and daily commutes, and it has performed beautifully each time. This addition to my bike has given my little one and I a completely different option for going for a bike ride! They are still learning to ride with training wheels and when they want to take a break and go fast, they can jump on this seat and we can ride around. My little one is still a bit nervous about this setup, but my older one is super excited and it makes intuitive sense for them. They even fold up the pedals on their own after we dismount. The price is actually lower than I expected, but it would have been nice for the pedals and bracket to be either higher quality plastic or metal as they are bit cheap feeling compared to the seat and handlebars.Installation was not a big deal as you just need to pick the right size plastic collar for the handlebars and make sure the bolts thread through the rubber pads for the pedal bracket. The seat is a simple quick release so you can take it off when you're riding solo. So easy, even my 2 year old was helping!If you have kids in this age range, this bike accessory will add a whole new, fun meaning to the phrase "let's go for a bike ride." You won't regret getting this!
