We just got this camera yesterday. We opened the box and learned how to use it so we could teach a child how to use it when we give it to him. The instructions that come with the camera are minimal, but with patience and trial and error we figured it out. My guess is that kids are better at this than we were.First impression is how cute this is. The screen is bright. It is easy to take photos and videos. The camera allows the user to review them using the screen and delete ones that did not turn out.You have to take off the cute whale silicone case to attach the USB to charge and to insert the SD card, which is included. This is good, because while in the case, these openings are covered.Batteries are included and when I plugged in the USB I noticed that the camera had already been charged. It took just a few minutes for it to be 100%.The tiny SD card had no instructions on how to insert it, but being careful not to touch the metal is important. Insert that side into the slot first. If it seems to be going in a bit sideways, you have it in wrong. It you have it oriented correctly the card should go in straight easily and then it takes a slight extra push to get it seated in the slot. Remove it by pushing on it again and it should spring out enough to grab it. The SD card is important because it stores the videos and photos.The camera comes with a separate USB SD card reader so that you can transfer photos and videos from the phone to a computer for sharing. It is easy to overlook, but you will need this.It also comes with a handy neck strap and a short USB cable, though you can use any USB mini cable to charge.I went into the settings and changed a few. The default is to have a 5 second delay, so I set it to none. The default has a date and time stamp, and I removed that too. There seems also to be different resolution settings, but I left them at the default for now.Because this is new and has not been in the hands of a child yet, we are not sure about the durability.We are hopeful he will love this.**updateHe loved it. Even though he just turned 3 he only needed a short demo to start taking photos.His 4 year old cousin saw how it worked and took over. She became the paparazzi of the party, snapping photos of everyone and everything. Because she took so many photos, there were several that were worth saving. We ordered her the pink version of the camera right away. There were lots of toys at the party, but this little camera was played with the most of any of them. Well worth it.

This camera is tiny! It’s perfect for my 5 year old! He’s one who fills my camera roll with a ton of random pictures so this was a great gift for him! It has different settings that I haven’t figured out yet but I saw him playing with different frames and he put it in black and white! It’s been dropped and the silicone sleeve did it’s job! The actual camera quality isn’t comparable with my iphone camera but I think I’d be disappointed in apple if it was!🤣I took a picture with my 2year old holding it so you can see the size! Perfect for toddlers!

This little camera has held up to water, being thrown and dropped. For a kid camera it’s great. Sometimes it’ll have issues about not reading the memory card but that’s probably because it’s been put through hell lol over all a great buy for any little kiddo that loves taking photos

We bought these cameras for kids and took a little getting used to. Child accidentally “deleted all†photos and was upset but quickly figured out what went wrong so as not to happen again. Another camera had the issue of the screen freezing and being completely unable to power down that others reported. Well, I left it plugged in for nearly a week and all of the sudden, the functionalities returned and the screen is normal. It did default to a low battery error even having been plugged in for the week, but I just plugged it in again, it powers on and off again and looks to be working now! All the pictures saved too! Not sure how or why but wanted to let you know in case it works for someone else in same situation.

This camera is amazing, my kid plays with it every day. So nice that you can just plug it in and charge it, the memory card lasts so long and the quality of the pictures is way better than any children's camera I've seen. Great for teaching how to photograph.
