The harness is adult quality webbing, stitching, metal clasps and attachment points are doubled and covered for added protection. Thigh pads are sufficient since children don't weigh as much and won't need too much padding on the lower part of the harness.

Overall great harness. Really hard to get it down to the size for my 3.5 year old, but it does work.
