I used these harnesses for my 3.5yo and 1.5yo skiing. They were perfect for learning and I especially liked having the handle on the back to help guide them or pick up when they fall. Definitely using again next year

Have you ever wished you could attach a handle to your child, like on those dog life jackets? Well, now you can with this easy budget option! We used it for skiing but it would also be useful for learning to skate or really any situation where you might have to grab your kid at a moments notice or haul them up every time they fall all day. My only complaint about this is that the straps do tend to loosen easily so I wouldn't count on it to dangle your child over a cliff edge. But for situations where you're on the ground, this will work. It does come with clip on leads, although we did not use those.

Even after my 5 year old could stop on his own I continued using the harness o. Him because it made lifting him onto the chair so easy. He never once complained about it.

It works well, I’m teaching my 4 year to snowboard, and when she falls it makes it a lot easier to pick her up and also for the chairlift.

One reason we purchased these harnesses was because they came with a storage bag. Unfortunately when our 2 harnesses arrived they did not include the storage bags. I double checked that it was in the description. Would gladly up the rating if the storage bags could be sent out asap so we could use them this weekend. Otherwise we will likely buy different harnesses at the ski shop and send these back.

I actually bought this as a stronger version of the " keep you child close to you leash like teather.." because my almost 2 year old is a beast. One of those flimsy back packs WOULD NOT hold him. This thing does! It's heavy duty buckles and straps will his this baby close. And of course you can't forget the built in "get back here" handle on the back!! You can just grab that and swoop your child right up. I don't care if other parents stare at me in disgust. My boy is active, and I'm hoping this will help us teach him to stay near us. We're planning on using it at the zoo or when we go to Big events where he just won't sit in a stroller all day..

On it’s first /trial run it was used to hold a 23 month old child in a wagon with 3 inch sides which alone would be too risky. I tied the harness lead down each side and around the wagon axel. Served the purpose well.

The solid and sturdy wide rear handle was great. We used this for my 8 year old and had a hard time standing up on the snowboard when they fell. So that handle was awesome to help pick them up. The downside I think is that the “leash cord†was too short by about 2 feet at least to really comfortably ride behind and still be able to make a turn yourself if you had too without pulling your kid down. Also it’s a single connected loop strap Instead of a Y or 2 indivial ones for each hip.So basically, the functionality is less then a higher end product, but this really got the job done, seems durable and I’d say good value for the product.
