I wanted to try these gloves because they have the wrist sleeve to help the gloves stay on. These gloves are still very large on my 23 month old. I put these gloves on her hands before her coat so that the coat sleeves are over the gloves; this way, they won't fall off, and she has a harder time pulling them off outside. These are pretty nice quality, so I know that they will hold up for a few winters. Since they are so large on her, they will fit for a long time yet. These gloves are not 100 percent waterproof; when there is a lot of wet, slushy puddles, they will soak through eventually. For dryer snow, they do a good job at keeping her hands warm and dry.
