We were pleasantly surprised to open this package and find the goals to be much larger than expected. Very easy to put together and set up. It seems to be very good quality. My grandkids .. ages 7-15 put it together and really enjoyed them. A soccer ball came with it which looked like a nice ball but they already had a soccer ball so this one didn’t get used yet. I can see many soccer games in my future!! Great purchase!!

Neither my husband nor I had the opportunity to play soccer when we were growing up - we're that old, LOL - but our kids played and, as necessity would dictate, we both ended up coaching, all the way through their school years, including at the high school level. So when our grandchildren came along, we were thrilled that they also came to love soccer. Now that we have two very young grandsons, we want to give them the same opportunities the other children had. But they live farther out in the country, so we have to make sure they have the equipment to practice and play right in their own yard. This starter set is just the way to get them out there kicking and passing. The goals themselves were fairly easy to put together and all the accessories make for well rounded practice and play sessions. They're a bit young yet to master the agility ladder, but that will be useful in time. I'm a big proponent of practice cones for learning to cut and maneuver, although that's also a few years down the way for these young ones. The ball is pretty basic and doesn't have the best response, but it will be fine until they graduate to a size 4.This set has a couple of shortcomings, which are not deal breakers but could use improvement: The ground staples to secure the goals are a bit short for yards that get watered frequently; 8" should be the minimum. The strap across the front of the goal frame is a trip hazard for little ones who want to run in to the goal to retrieve the ball. That could be eliminated with an even longer ground staple at the front corners. The main thing I wish the manufacturer had not cut corners on is the shock cords running through the poles - they are very thin and they will eventually break, and when they do, they are going to be a royal pain to replace. Many users would just give up at that point and buy new goals. For my part, I try to make things last, so I hate to see something that is almost designed to self-destruct.Otherwise, this set is lots of fun and will get our grandsons ready for team play.

Upon opening, this kit has an odd smell. Like all the smells you find in several stinky packages mixed together. Inflatable mattress, memory foam pillow, wet paint, and offshore plastics. It’s hard to describe other than unpleasant. For outdoor gear it’s a non-issue unless you open it indoors as I did.Goal setup was a bit tricky. Definitely have that setup BEFORE getting kids involved. There are 4 frames that are pre-linked and pop right together. One frame goes through the color portion of the net, and one goes through the base black portion. Easier said than done as the frame will pull apart easily in the sleeves. Once 2 frames are stuffed into one net, angle brackets link those at a 90 degree angle with a strap to maintain width. 4 ground stakes try to keep it in place.What I didn’t initially realize was all the add-ons that would be included. This comes with a ball, pump, agility ladder, cones, and a duffle bag. I got in when the listing was fresh, so it’s more clear now. Oh well, happy I had a glow ball as well since my kids weren’t too thrilled with sharing at first.As for functionality, it worked well. The ball inflated to an appropriate round shape and held air. The goal could take some decent kicks, but did not hold up well to my 2nd grader trying to camp inside the goal. The strap in front is a trip hazard and the stakes don’t stay in the dirt when hit by a tiny person. The rest is just plastic for marking the ground for practice, and that’s hard to mess up.Overall a decent kit to get little ones interested in soccer/football. Worth picking up if you have the space.

This soccer net set exceeded my expectations. The nets take a little bit of work to initially set up with the frame, but once it is together, it is an impressive size with a good amount of elastic/spring to the frame. It comes with stakes, so the nets can be secure to the ground and not be moved through collissions or the wind. The pylons are a valuable add-on to set the boundaries for a pick-up game.The confusing part of the set is that it is described as "toddler soccer nets". I don't know of any toddlers ready to use an agility ladder... also, the nets are such a generous size, I think the set is more suited to older children (~6-12 years). However, that said, the soccer ball is toddler sized and so doesn't really fit with the scale of the other items.In all, the set includes:* 2 large (4 ft x 6 ft) soccer nets (also, 4 feet deep)* 10 short pylons* 1 agility ladder* ground stakes for both the soccer nets and agility ladder* a small soccer ball, suitable for toddlers* a ball pump* a carrying bag for the agility ladder, pylons, small soccer ball and ball pump. (The nets can fold, but will not fit in the carrying bag)

The Bornew Kids Soccer Goal set is a nice set for budding soccer fans. The nets seem well made and are easy to set up. Includes stakes to lock down the net. It also comes with a soccer ball, agility ladder and cones, plus a convenient bag for holding everything. Overall, a very good value for the price (about $77 at time of writing)

This soccer goal was great. We set them up in our basement (had to be a little creative and grabbed bags of salt to hold them down) and enjoyed them even though it's winter. The net is well made and durable and a lot of fun. The rest of the set felt like little "bonus" pack-in's. They work well enough and are durable enough for our own private use.
