We used this for the first time today and I was able to teach my 10 year old daughter simple algebra with it! It's sturdy and the beads feel so smooth! The beads are plastic and not wood but for our home school I really wanted my daughter to see the equation on the top of the abacus, so this one was a must for us because of the place on top to put the equation. This is our first abacus and I didn't know how to use one but I looked at the picture on the description and figured it out. I'm so grateful to have this as another tool to learn math! I HIGHLY recommend!

I am a homeschool mom and this Abacus works great! Its sturdiness is ok. I don't know if its my table but it easily tips over. However, seems very well made. I have two boys who like to destroy things. SO, so far its still intact :)

When I showed my three year old son this product he was immediately drawn to the colors of the beads and enjoyed moving the beads from one end to the other. I really like the number and letter cards that come with this product, which weren't an option with similar products. At this stage my son can use this abacus for color recognition, then work towards counting, math and letter recognition. This product will grow with your child and keep them engaged while reinforcing learning. I did find the wood frame a little fragile and was concerned it wouldn't last as long as it could. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and would strongly recommend for others to consider buying this product as well.

This is a great Montessori math tool that you can use to help children to learn math and place value while doing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It’s especially great for visual learners or multi sensory learners. I use this with my children that have learning disabilities like dyslexia.

Kid really likes this abacus because it’s colorful and easy to use but I didn’t realize until a month later that one of the rows only has 9 beads. So don’t be like me and really check that the product you get is complete.

I bought this for my granddaughter who loves math. She loves it! It makes math fun and easy. It folds up and was a great asset on our seven hour car trip. Both fun and educational. I definitely recommend it!
